Currently, Melissa is understudying at The Second City in Brooklyn.

She is also directing a sketch show at Caveat called The Unexplored Lives of Tiny Characters, which gives the smallest characters you see in tv and film their chance to shine.

A short-film that she co-produced, devised, and starred in, Will You Please Hit Me? is nearing the end of its festival run and heading to New Filmmakers LA in May 2025.

Just Lie, a pilot that she also co-produced and wrote with her husband, filmmaker Jack Frederick, has begun it’s festival run.
